Notes of Usages

  • Although MS-77 welding wire is packaged in a moisture-resistant packaging, it will absorb moisture if stored or left unattended for extended periods. It is always recommended to dry it at 70°C – 100°C for 30–60 minutes before use.
  • Keep the arc length as short as possible; use a windscreen to counter strong winds.
  • Adopt back step method or strike the arc on a small steel plate prepared for this particular purpose to prevent blowholes at the arc starting.
