About Us

PT. Intan Pertiwi Industri (INTIWI) was established in 1976 and began producing welding wire in 1977. Since then, INTIWI has been operating under the umbrella of Kobe Steel Ltd. of Japan. Initially, they produced AWS 6013/RB 26 welding wire and later expanded their product line to include LB 52 welding electrode wire in subsequent years.

After nearly 50 years of collaboration with Kobe Steel, INTIWI has diversified its offerings and currently manufactures and supplies various types of welding electrode wires. Their product range includes Mild Steel, High Tensile Steel, Stainless Steel, Hardfacing, Cast Iron, Low Temperature, and Alloy or Heat Resistant. This wide range of options reflects their commitment to meeting the diverse needs of customers across various industries.

PT. Intan Pertiwi Industri has an office in Jakarta, which serves as its administrative center. In addition, it has a factory and warehouse located in Tangerang, where the production and storage of its welding wire takes place. This strategic arrangement enables efficient production and distribution processes to effectively serve its customers.
