PT. Intan Pertiwi Industri (INTIWI) was established in 1976 and commenced welding wire production in 1977. During this time, INTIWI operated under the auspices of Kobe Steel Ltd. Japan. Initially, they manufactured AWS 6013 / RB 26 type welding wire and subsequently expanded their product line to include LB 52 welding electrode wire in the following years.

After close to 50 years of collaboration with Kobe Steel, INTIWI has diversified its offerings and currently produces and supplies a wide range of welding electrode wire types. Their product range spans from Mild Steel, High Tensile Steel, Stainless Steel, Hardfacing, Cast Iron, Low Temperature, to Alloy or Heat Resistance. This extensive selection reflects their commitment to meeting the varying needs of customers across different industries.

PT. Intan Pertiwi Industri maintains an office in the Jakarta area, serving as their administrative hub. Additionally, they have a dedicated factory and warehouse located in the Tangerang area, where their welding wire production and storage operations take place. This strategic setup allows for efficient manufacturing and distribution processes to serve their customers effectively.
